Job Introduction ENVIRONMENTAL LEAD | PERMANENT | DERRYLIN, CO FERMANAGH | £50,000-£53,500 As our next Environmental Lead you will provide technical authority, strategic direction and independent assurance for environmental risk at site. The role ensures environmental risks are identified early, controlled effectively, and owned by the site teams, with specialist expertise applied where it adds the greatest value: risk reduction, regulatory resilience and long term performance improvement. The Key Requirements Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related discipline Minimum 5 years experience in environmental compliances, assurance or management within manufacturing or high-risk industries Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland environmental legislation and ISO 14001 Ability to interpret complex environmental data and present clear risk-based insight Desirable - IEMA Practitioner or Full Membership, ISO 14001/ ISO 50001 auditor certification, Experience in COMAH or other high-hazard regulatory environments, Familiarity with ESG, SECR, and carbon reporting frameworks Hours Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2.30pm 38.75 hours Encirc produces up to four billion glass bottles and containers each year, many of which you will find in your homes.
