Environmental and Planning Lawyer South East Hybrid working Permanent £80,000 - £85,000 per annum An Environmental and Planning Lawyer is required to join a major utilities company based in the South East on a permanent basis. The successful Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to get involved with interesting work of national importance from the outset and will join an experienced, dynamic, and close-knit team. The Environmental and Planning Lawyer will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements, but will ideally be able to attend the office in the South East twice a week. As an Environmental and Planning Lawyer, your role will include, but is not limited to: Provide focused accurate, effective, and timely advice on a range of environmental and planning legal matters Assisting with Environmental Information Regulation queries Managing external legal resources Providing legal support on ongoing, large-scale programmes and projects Qualifications and Experience required of the Senior Environmental and Planning Lawyer: Qualified as a lawyer (solicitor, barrister or equivalent) Experience in Environmental and Planning Law An ability to collaborate well as a team player and take on managerial responsibilities Those with Public sector or private practice experience are encouraged to apply and previous in-house experience would also be beneficial but not necessary Benefits of working for the Utilities Company: Annual discretionary bonus Pension Contribution of up to 11% 25 days Annual Leave Life Insurance Additional wellbeing benefits This is a really exciting opportunity for a qualified Environmental and Planning Lawyer to join one of the largest utilities companies in the country, so apply NOW to ensure you do not miss this new opportunity!
