Location: Brighton

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per annum DOE

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role
\n
We are recruiting for an exciting Pharmacy Manager opportunity in Brighton with an established community pharmacy that will be under new ownership from November.
\n\n
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious pharmacist who wants to play a key role in the growth and development of the pharmacy, working closely with the new owners to shape the future direction of the business.
\n\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the pharmacy while also taking a commercially focused approach to developing NHS and private clinical services, increasing revenue and identifying new opportunities.
\n\n
The pharmacy is also looking to explore new online services, AI and technology, so an interest in these areas would be highly desirable.
\n\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n - Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the pharmacy.
\n - Lead, motivate and develop the existing pharmacy team.
\n - Ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.
\n - Develop and grow NHS and private clinical services.
\n - Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
\n - Set, monitor and work towards commercial and operational KPIs.
\n - Work closely with the owners on business development and future strategy.
\n - Identify and develop new services and commercial opportunities.
\n - Explore opportunities around online pharmacy services, AI and technology.
\n - Maintain strong governance, compliance and adherence to GPhC requirements.
\n - Support the continued growth of the pharmacy and wider business.

About You
\n
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has:
\n
\n - GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
\n - Strong UK community pharmacy experience.
\n - Previous management or leadership experience, or clear ability to step into a management role.
\n - Experience taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy pharmacy.
\n - A strong understanding of NHS and private clinical services.
\n - A commercially minded approach with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
\n - Experience setting and working towards KPIs.
\n - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
\n - A strong understanding of pharmacy governance, compliance and GPhC requirements.
\n - An Independent Prescriber qualification is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
\n - Ambition to progress into a broader operational or senior leadership role as the business grows.
