Communication is commonly behaviour related and positive behaviour support planning underpins education. Location: Lancaster £12.21 per hour. Driver preferred but not essential.
We have roles for existing health and social care professionals and those new to the profession. The Salutem Academy offers all-age opportunities for further study for career progression, and operational training is planned around the service you work in. Our Residential Teams support students to live and learn at Beaumont College.
Following a Pathway to Adulthood, those students who are residential enjoy living alongside their peers, applying what they have learned into living, and enjoy life as a resident at college. There is a developing weekly activities schedule, which includes gaming, crafting, disco's, karaoke, and more. Students may have complex health conditions and/or diagnoses or autism or similar conditions.
Training around positive behaviour support will underpin the planning for daily routines. You will join a skilled and experienced team of colleagues and support a wide range of students as they live away from home from the first time. This role involves working shifts, morning, evenings and weekends.
