The Person: The folowing applicant should be proficient in Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop and I lustrator, coupled with a working knowledge of the software within Adobes Creative Suite. Applicants should be creative and possess a considerable amount of artistic flair. BA, BTEC/HND in Graphic Design required. Proficiency in design for digital media as wel as print is advantageous, including experience using Content Management Systems. Experience in the design and production of industry-standard online advertising formats wil be beneficial. The successful candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to produce original well thought out work consistently. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of advertisements and the make-up of pages for our weekly newspapers, websites and social media channels. The person will also be required to design commercial print work.
