HGV Technician Up to £21 per hour DOE Tamworth Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week Permanent We're looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our busy, workshop-based team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company, maintaining both our own fleet and vehicles from external clients. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, inspect, repair, and test HGV vehicles and plant equipment to DfT and VOSA standards Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspections Perform regular safety inspections and fault diagnosis (hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems) Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairs Fit and remove ancillary equipment, accessories, and livery Prepare and decommission vehicles as required Complete all paperwork accurately and update workshop systems Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised Attend relevant training courses as required Carry out any additional duties relevant to the roleWhat We're Looking For: Relevant mechanical qualifications and experience Strong problem-solving and practical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of customer care Knowledge of workshop Health & Safety standardsBenefits Mon-Friday (Flexi hours) Up to £21ph DOE 29 days holiday + bank holidayContact Jodie Hodgson at Birmingham Pertemps, Hagley Road for more informationAfter reading and understanding the criteria and minimum qualification requirements explained in the job information HGV Technician at the office Tamworth, Staffordshire above, immediately complete the job application files such as a job application letter, CV, photocopy of diploma, transcript, and other supplements as explained above.
