Devonshire House in Sudbury are seeking a reliable and compassionate Housekeeper to join their care home team on a bank basis. As a key member of support staff, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff facilities to a high standard
• Follow infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal space at all times
• Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth-running home

About You:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)
• Understanding of infection control and COSHH regulations
• Friendly, approachable, and committed to high standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Devonshire House in Sudbury is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 68 residents.
