By keeping the information accurate and up to date, you will enable service users to be directed to support that best meets their individual needs.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for researching, collecting and accurately maintaining an up-to-date directory of services that can be used by residents and professionals, specifically relating to children, young people and their families, including those with SEND.
It will be key for you to increase service levels through promotion and awareness work, as well as liaising with other specialist colleagues to maximise support for families.
You will improve user trust and satisfaction with the current IAG offer amongst key service users.

Using your networking skills, you will target local community groups and organisations, forming positive relationships with them.
What we need from you
You must be a confident communicator who can adapt your approach to suit a wide range of stakeholders and to liaise with providers and partners through various channels to develop positive working relationships.
You will be able to collate, produce and edit directory content in plain English and accessible language so it is appropriate for a diverse audience, including people with cognitive or communication needs.
It is essential that you have an understanding of the needs of children and families, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
You will have excellent IT and numeracy skills, including the ability to accurately update information systems and databases.
What you need to know

Interviews will be held on 20th May 2026.
