We are actively seeking an IT Placement Studentto join our growing team. This placement provides hands on experience within a live enterprise IT environment. The successful student will support day to day IT operations while gaining exposure to Microsoft 365 administration, automation tools, and AI driven digital initiatives. The role offers structured development, mentoring, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to real business projects. | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | IT Support & Operations Assist with providing first access issues via the IT service desk Assist with user setup, starters/leavers, account permissions, and device configuration Escalate complex issues appropriately and work alongside team members to resolve Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools Support day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot) Assist with SharePoint site management, permissions, and document governance Keep intranet up to date and assist with development of intranet Assist with Microsoft Copilot rollout and AI development initiatives Automation, Data & Digital Improvement Assist with testing and roll-out of system updates and new technology deployments Assist with testing, documenting, and supporting automated business processes Work with the IT team on data-driven and AI-related initiatives, including proof-of-concepts and internal tools Documentation & Continuous Improvement Create and maintain clear IT documentation, user guides, and process notes Assist with improving internal IT processes and service delivery Contribute ideas for improving system usability, efficiency, and automation | QUALIFICATION | Essential Currently undertaking a degree in Information Technology, Computing, Software Engineering, or a related discipline | EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE | Essential Strong interest in enterprise IT systems and technology | ABILITIES & SKILLS | Capable of independent research and training to gain knowledge in fast moving IT world Good problem solving skills with a methodical approach Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical users Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks Strong interest in enterprise IT systems and technology Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned work | COMPANY BENEFITS | Cash Health Plan to include Employee Assistance Programme 4 x Salary Death in Service cover Auto Enrolment Company Pension scheme (Salary Sacrifice) Company Sick Pay Scheme, which is available upon successful completion of probation, and increases with service Enhanced maternity & paternity benefits Paid professional subscriptions Variety of employee discounts Cycle to Work Scheme Branded clothing Active Social and Wellbeing Committees Annual Health Checks Full use of onsite state of the art gym Awards for long service Additional annual leave based on length of service Training and development opportunities.
