Earn £34,320 (£16.50 p/h) Responsible to Head Baker We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bakehouse. This role is ideal for someone with strong baking experience who is ready to take on a lead role, ensuring Creative Gardens high-quality products are consistently produced while working for the head baker and also supporting the wider bakehouse team. Responsibilities and Duties: Helps lead day-to-day baking tasks as per production list and instruction from head baker Mixing doughs, batters, and pastry Producing breads, traybakes, cakes, scones, desserts etc. Helps with oven management and baking schedules Monitoring product quality Supporting the Head Baker Training more junior staff Essential Proven experience in a professional bakery environment Strong knowledge of bread, pastry, desserts and cake production Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Good organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Team player with a positive and proactive attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings Available to work 5 days per week, approx. 40 hours Desirable Formal baking or culinary qualification Experience using commercial bakery equipment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP) Passion for baking and the Creative Gardens Food Co brand You must complete the online company application form to be considered for the role.
