The role...
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team. As Maintenance Assistant you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills. Painting and decorating to high standard is a big part of the job. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required. Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers.
Key Job Responsibilities
Daily walk of the building, Report to Duty Manager / Maintenance Manager.
Room Checks
General Maintenance work i.e painting
Attend morning & afternoon meetings
Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual check on all products
Attributes / Experience
Essential
Basic knowledge of Plumbing, Electrics and Painting and Decorating/ Carpentry
Health & Safety Legislation
Time Management and clean work ethics
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Adaptability / Problem Solving.
Desirable
Pervious Hotel Experience
Knowledge of Pool/Spa
Knowledge of Legionella Testing
