Management Accountant at Scottish Prison Service

The post-holder is responsible forassisting the SFP&A Manager with meeting all management reportingrequirements, including reporting the SPS corporate budget position andforecast outturns to SPS Advisory Board and the Scottish Government through monthlyreporting and the budget review process (SBR and ABR).

Youwill deputise for the SFP&A Manager and have line management responsibilityfor the Assistant Management Accountant as appropriate.

The role is basedwithin the SPS Headquarters, situated in Edinburgh, however there may be arequirement for you to travel to other SPS sites and locations, and potentiallysome home working.
