Job Overview:
The ME ensures that manufacturing is carried out (and the end product is produced) in the most time-efficient and cost-effective way while still maintaining overall product quality. Their duties include, choosing the best technologies and processes to manufacture it, plan and design the factory that will produce the product, and manage the running, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing process.
Description of Job Role
Key Technical/Professional Competencies
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing , PFMEA and Control plans
Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering core processes (e.g. process planning, inspection planning, tooling, creation of operator instructions)
Ability to characterize various tools, toolings and fixtures
Education & Professional Qualification:
Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum hands-on experience in Manufacturing Engineering 5-10 years
Working Hours
07.00 to 16.00 (Monday to Thursday) 07.00 - 12.00 noon Friday)
