The roleAs Operations Manager – Face-to-Face Integrated Urgent Care Services, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for our clinical and non-clinical out-of-hours teams across Norfolk. You’ll manage Team Managers and oversee a workforce of around 100 colleagues, including clinicians, receptionists, drivers, and admin teams.
You’ll be accountable for ensuring our OOH sites run safely, efficiently and in line with contractual, quality and regulatory standards. That means managing rotas, performance, budgets and resources – while keeping patient experience, colleague engagement and operational excellence front and centre.
This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll spend time on‑site with your teams, ensuring they feel supported, valued and motivated. You’ll lead by example – engaging with frontline colleagues, building strong working relationships, and creating a culture where everyone understands the part they play in delivering excellent patient care.
You’ll also work closely with our clinical and quality leads to identify improvements, develop new ways of working and drive continuous service enhancement. Externally, you’ll represent IC24 with local system partners, helping to strengthen integration across urgent and primary care pathways.
