We're delighted to be partnering with a local SME that, after a period of success and growth, are now looking to appoint a Part-Time Bookkeeper to their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
This is a wide-ranging role where your core duties will include:

  • Management accounts preparation
  • Bookkeeping
  • VAT returns
  • CIS returns
  • Payroll

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has strong experience overseeing bookkeeping responsibilities within an SME environment
  • Has prior experience working within the construction industry
  • Has working knowledge of Xero
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
  • Would be interested in working part-time hours across either 4 or 5 days per week

The package includes a £35,000 - £40,000 salary (full-time equivalent) and offers part-time hours across either 4 or 5 days, which can then be flexible to suit you in terms of the number of hours and when you work them.
