The roleAs a People Programme and Strategic Workforce Planning Lead, you’ll sit at the heart of our mission to shape the long‑term capability and success of our Marine Sector. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision‑making, design future workforce models, and ensure we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time. Your work will make a tangible difference — strengthening our organisation, informing our people strategy, and supporting the delivery of nationally significant defence and engineering programmes. It’s a role that provides outstanding scope for professional growth, enabling you to deepen your expertise across workforce strategy, analytics, programme delivery, and senior stakeholder engagement.
Day‑to‑day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
This is a full‑time role, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Travel to other Babcock and customer sites may be expected.
Essential experience of the People Programme and Strategic Workforce Planning LeadThe successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
