Location: Aztec West, Bristol Hybrid Working Options: Will be available once the successful candidate is up to speed with client systems/processes Duration: Currently approved until 31 December 2026 Status: Full Time - CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35 Reports to: Post CS2 Programme Manager Morson Talent are working with a major player in the Energy sector who have a current requirement for a full time Planning Support Coordinator to join their established Project Team, on a contract basis. All work is associated with a major Nuclear energy infrastructure Project in the Southwest of England. This contract opportunity will be based at our client's offices at Aztec West in Bristol with hybrid working options becoming available once you're up to speed with systems and processes. Highly competitive daily rate - inside IR35. The Opportunity As the Project is now moving from Civil Works construction activities into the M&E installation phase there is now a need to review arrangements to align with the post CS2 Programme.  The transition beyond the CS2 Configuration Baseline and into the commissioning phase will mean that the Planning Support Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting the Post CS2 Programme Manager. You'll help to ensure the programme is delivered with precision, agility, and professionalism. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the chance to take ownership of key activities, support cross-functional teams, and even lead on sub-projects as you grow. Typical Responsibilities You will be the engine behind the scenes—coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring that the Post CS2 programme stays on course. You will support the development of communication strategies, prepare reports and briefings, and help maintain alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. You will play a key part in managing and analysing project schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring that milestones are met. Your ability to spot issues early and keep things moving will be vital to the success of the programme. Key Skills for Success: You don't need to be an Engineer!! But… you do need to be curious, proactive, and ready to learn. You thrive in a structured yet fast-moving environment. You bring strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence. You are comfortable working independently but also enjoy being part of a team and building strong relationships across departments. You have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal You will be confident using tools like Microsoft Office, Power BI, and databases. Experience in project or programme support, particularly in complex or regulated environments, will be a strong advantage. You will need to be motivated, adaptable, and calm under pressure. You take pride in delivering high-quality work and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
