Vacancy Information Principal Teacher Salary PT point 1 (£57,498 per annum) Temporary until 31st March 2027. Days and Hours of work: Monday - Friday To start 10th August 2026. Principal Teacher Pedagogy: Rosehill High School, on the Wallyford Learning Campus. East Lothian Council seeks to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking individual for the position of Principal Teacher of Pedagogy for a fixed term period until 31st March 2027. Our school opened in August 2023. We currently have around 600 pupils in S1-S5, with further fast-paced expansion anticipated in the coming years. Our new secondary learning facility is designed to support creative approaches to pedagogy, with a range of adaptive teaching spaces. Alongside up to date and digitally enabled classrooms, there is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) plaza, a Learning Resource Centre, extensive facilities to support the arts, and a state of the art sport and leisure complex. Learning and teaching on the campus go beyond the traditional classroom and encompass outdoor learning and learning for sustainability. The campus also includes a number of community and health spaces to support collaboration between a range of professionals and sectors.
