Job Title: Production Operative – Packaging & Granulation Location: Spondon Pay: £14.59 per hour (increasing to £17.17 after 12 weeks) Our client is a global leader in the field of chemistry, providing material solutions used across a wide range of major industries. They are currently seeking Packaging Technicians to support the packaging, granulation and material handling operations on their site. Working Hours: Rotating shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM Working any 5 days out of 7 Weekend shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Operate packaging and granulation equipment Support material movement and forklift operations Ensure correct labelling and product compliance Inspect finished goods before dispatch Maintain 5S housekeeping standards Monitor materials and stock levels Maintain records/logs Follow HSE procedures Work as part of a team to meet targets Skills and Experience: FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging production, warehouse environments preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Good communication skills (verbal and written) Willingness to learn and develop new skills Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach Ability to work effectively as part of a team Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Overtime payable at x1.5 Pay increase after 12 weeks Pension, holiday pay Free on-site parking Company share plan after qualifying period Full training will be provided for site processes and equipment where required.
