We're partnered with a leading digital consultancy delivering cutting-edge services for central government. They're urgently seeking a Programme Delivery Manager to take charge of a high-pressure transformation programme within the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

This is a complex, high-stakes delivery involving cloud telephony platforms, critical service applications, analytics/reporting and legacy migration. It's not just delivery - it's recovery. You'll be coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams, managing engineering teams, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring timelines are met under challenging circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end programme delivery across cloud telephony and service apps

• Oversight of platform analytics/reporting and customer journey migration

• Manage engineers, delivery leads, and coordinate with PMO functions

• Lead stakeholder engagement across client, vendors, and governance boards

• Maintain pace, manage risks, and ensure immovable deadlines are hit

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience as a programme delivery manager across public sector or large-scale tech projects

• Hands-on leadership in cloud platforms, software delivery, and service migration

• High resilience, confidence, and ability to lead under pressure

• Strong communication and stakeholder management at all levels

• Agile knowledge and delivery-first mindset

Contract Details:

• £575/day (Inside IR35)

• 12-month contract

• Hybrid - 2-3 days/month in Sheffield
