About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced teachers to support the growth and progress of pupils across the classroom. This engaging, hands-on role is ideal for someone eager to bring psychological theory-such as child development, behaviour, and emotional well-being-into a meaningful and impactful educational setting.

You'll be supporting children with a variety of needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, build self-confidence, and strengthen essential social and emotional skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom
• Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils
• Assisting children with SEN or additional needs
• Helping manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
• Promoting emotional well-being and social interaction
• Observing and reporting on pupil progress
