Bela Recruitmentis recruiting a Purchasing Officer (Buyer)to work in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.

Virtually all supplier have long standing relationships with this company and they dont change very often. Would suit anyone with previous Purchasing, Buying, Buyer, Supply Chain experience looking a better pace of life.

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders for products & materials with suppliers, ensuring products get ordered at the right time to land in NI when needed.
• Maintain procurement database, updating and ensuring deliveries stay on track.
• Work with international suppliers to manage order timelines and resolve issues.
• Inform internal staff and external customers on any changes to order deliveries.
• Spot any potential issues with orders around lead time/delivery and notify correct colleagues.
• Gather information from database to share with colleagues on stock levels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing.

Requirements

• Previous purchasing, buying or supply chain experience.
• High attention to details and accuracy.
• Experience raising purchasing orders, invoice resolution and getting quotes for orders.
• Good experience using Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong administration skills, attention to detail and good basic maths skills.
• Great communication skills and professional attitude.

Rewards

Salary between £27,000 - £30,000
