Quality Manager

£65k - £75k

Commutable from Brighton, Eastbourne, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Worthing, Hailsham

A fantastic opportunity to work at an Global SME dedicated to continuing their reputation of as a high quality supplier within their industry by recruiting a new Quality Manager.

This position will be working on very exciting projects for global customers & within the electronics & automotive industries.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a certified ISO 9001 QMS.
• Lead quality planning, process validation, and PPAP activities for customers.
• Oversee QA and QC functions and ensure adequate resourcing.
• Maintain ISO 14001 compliance and manage programs for chemical storage, waste, and resource efficiency.
• Continuous improvement of functions using Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a Quality Manager role or similar.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & IATF 164949 knowledge
• Auditing, RCA, PPAP & APQP experience
