All about the role:
Work in a childrens home that makes a positive, lasting difference to childrens lives. This role is ideal for experienced Residential Workers or Youth Workers, as well as those with no previous experience who are looking to build a career in residential care.
We are looking for determined, caring and thoughtful people to become long-lasting, significant adults in a childs life, and this could be the role for you.
We are looking for someone who
- Is 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
- Is caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with others.
- Has a valid manual driving licence.
- Has the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
Previous experience is not essential for this role. Our Skills to Care induction includes 2 separate weeks of classroom-based training and a week of shadow shifts to prepare for the new role.
