The company are a leading FinTech Software Company, experience huge growth. A multi award winning business across multiple categories their solutions are mainly aimed at the UK accountancy and finance office market. Following significant investment they are currently scaling and looking for an Account Executive to join their already well-established sales function to help grow and develop their customer base. As a disrupter in the industry, they are currently growing at an exceptional pace and can offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.
This role is a new business role where you will be responsible for net new business customers with the support of marketing and a dedicated SDR. This role is to focus on larger firms where a consultative approach is essential and the ability to discuss a suite of solutions. You will define and execute sales strategies with a focus on the UK market across an established region.
This is largely home home based position with occasional visits to customer site and the office so you can be based anywhere in England. You will need to have a background selling SaaS into accountancy firms with a solid knowledge around Tax and Accounting.
Responsibilities: Senior Account Executive
Having a focused GTM strategy with an aim to target net new customers
Prospect and win new business customers through consultative selling techniques
Develop strong relationships at all levels, identifying key decision makers and influencers
Work closely with marketing and your assigned SDR to focus new business outreach
Utilise Salesforce to manage your pipeline, and to allow effective reporting
Take full accountability for defined targeted customers, using metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers of performance
Collaborate closely with other team members
Key measures of success are, new customer growth and revenue growth
You will lead the sales strategy in your region
Attend industry relevant events to network and increase company profile
Experience with selling solutions with focus on value in a consultative manner
Entrepreneurial mindset with the excellent communications skills at all levels
Gravitas/Presence - demonstrates credibility and confidence
Ability to manage pipeline in timely effective manner
Proven track record of over achievement in sales
Customer Empathy - curious and genuinely wants to ease their pain points
Strategic thinker - with the ability to come up with an effective plan for tackling assigned territory, and see how that fits into the overall UK strategy
Ability to think about the overall team success not just your own
