Senior Sales Engineer x2

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 basic + car, bonus and other benefits

Location: Northern & Southern England

Sector: HVAC / Engineering / Construction

We are looking for two driven Senior Sales Engineers to join our clients team and help deliver sales growth across an allocated UK region.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded technical sales professional with experience in HVAC or similar products to represent a respected business providing innovative climate solutions.

About the role

As Senior Sales Engineer, you will work with both established and prospective clients to understand their requirements, design bespoke solutions, and present compelling sales proposals. You will also work closely with Projects Managers to ensure proposals are commercially and technically sound, then hand over confirmed contracts for successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver sales and growth targets within your region.
  • Visit customer and third-party sites to build a strong understanding of requirements.
  • Design tailored solutions and prepare professional sales proposals.
  • Work with Projects Managers to ensure accuracy across product availability, specifications, costs, supplier input, and timelines.
  • Follow up leads and proposals to convert opportunities into secured contracts.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records.
  • Manage a thorough handover to Projects Managers to support successful delivery.
  • Work with the Business Development team to generate new business and grow existing accounts.

What we’re looking for

Essential experience and skills include proven technical sales experience, strong relationship-building ability, confidence using CRM systems, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

You should also be an excellent communicator, comfortable working independently, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Desirable experience includes sales in HVAC or other technical products, service account management, and experience working in live production environments.
