About you
- Minimum five years' health and safety experience, with at least three years in manufacturing or heavy industry
- BSc (Hons) in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and ISO 45001 standards
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards is desirable
- Experience in policy development, risk assessment, audits, incident investigation, and delivering safety training
- Excellent report-writing and numerical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures aligned with legislative and business standards
- Drive a safety-first culture by influencing and engaging colleagues across multiple sites
- Conduct risk assessments, oversee audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring swift, effective resolution
- Develop and deliver onboarding and continuous SHEQ training programmes for staff, contractors, and visitors
- Collaborate with site leadership, operations, and external regulators to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
