Stores Person Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Goods Inwards & Stores Person to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities as a Stores Person: Receive, unload and inspect incoming deliveries, check quantities, condition and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies or variances Accurately book in stock, update inventory records and maintain system data to support stock visibility. Issue stock, parts and equipment through a controlled process Communicate shortages, damaged goods and delayed deliveries Maintain clean, safe and organised storage areas Requirements: Proven goods inwards / stores experience Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering business Confident Microsoft user Good understanding of components, parts and products Excellent attention to detail The Stores person role: Starting Salary of £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service) Employee Assistance Programme If you are interested in this Stores Person / Goods inward position, please apply below or contact Jemma at Pertemps.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
