The Opportunity

We are hiring a Supplier Relations Manager to build and manage our supplier network from the ground up. In this role, you will recruit MHRA-compliant suppliers, uphold quality standards, and develop meaningful partnerships that power the Zenrox marketplace. This is a high-impact, strategic position with direct influence on business performance and long-term supplier strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard MHRA-compliant medical equipment suppliers across multiple product categories.
  • Conduct comprehensive supplier verification, including MHRA registration checks, insurance validation, and compliance documentation review.
  • Negotiate commission structures, partnership terms, and preferred supplier agreements.
  • Establish and maintain supplier performance standards, KPIs, and monitoring systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to enhance quote turnaround time and order fulfilment accuracy.
  • Analyse supplier performance data and provide coaching to underperforming suppliers.
  • Develop training materials, onboarding guides, and supplier support resources.
  • Build strategic and long-term partnerships with high-value suppliers to secure preferential terms.
  • Serve as the voice of suppliers internally, presenting feedback and insights to product, operations, and leadership teams.
What You Bring
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor relations.
  • Strong understanding of the medical equipment supply chain and MHRA regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable partnership terms.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in supplier performance analysis.
  • Experience working with marketplace, multi-vendor, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
Ideal Background (Preferred)
  • Medical equipment distribution, healthcare supply chain, or pharmaceutical wholesale experience.
  • Experience working with NHS Supply Chain or private healthcare procurement teams.
  • Background in marketplace supplier operations (e.g., Amazon, eBay, B2B platforms).
  • Knowledge of MHRA/UKCA compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in supplier quality assurance, audits, and compliance processes.
  • SaaS platform or vendor management experience.
