Job Description We are looking for enthusiastic teachers wanting to work in the Primary Sector who are committed to excellence and ready to work in a dynamic part of Scotland to deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. This post would be an as and when required via relief booking system and would be shire wide in terms of requests. Aberdeenshire Council schools and educational settings now use the Teacher Booker system to publish relief work opportunities. If you are appointed to the relief position, you will be required to register into the Aberdeenshire Council relief pool on the Teacher Booker system to receive notifications of these opportunities and apply for them. Once you have been set up on payroll our Education Relief Team will contact you providing a link to the Teacher Booker System to set up a user profile, once completed Aberdeenshire Council will then approve you for work, following their own vetting/approval procedure, once completed you will then be able to start accepting jobs.
