An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Younger Persons Training and Engagement Support Officer to join our team at our Younger Persons Service in Hereford to work with the young people in our accommodation-based service across a 7 day 9am-10pm team rota to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 16-25.
A big part of this role is around training and engagement so you should be able to build good working relationships with our young people.
You will be confident in dealing with crisis situations as they arise, this may include liaising with other professionals or signposting to external agencies to fully support the young people. You will need to update and record information in a timely and accurate manner.
Are you able to engage young people? Can you think outside the box? Are you able to remain calm in times of crisis? If yes, this role could be for you!
The hours are based on a 7- day Rota on shifts 9am to 5pm, 11am to 7pm or 2pm to 10pm.
