At Sense, we don't just provide care, we champion independence and we're looking for a Relief Support Worker to join us. You will be working in our supported living service in Rockbeare, Devon and offering £13 per hour. Our service operates across a range of shifts, Monday to Sunday, including 8am–10pm, 9am–9pm, and sleep-in shifts, so flexibility is key.
We are looking for someone who is:
Confident and resilient
Comfortable with lone working
Able to support people who communicate in different ways
Flexible and available to cover a variety of shifts
Willing to attend training to support you in your role
This role might include supporting people with:
Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
Personal care and hygiene
Finances and medication
Going into the community for shopping or other trips
Their social life and nightlife
The people you'll support communicate using British Sign Language; full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
