Job Title: Technical and Performance Resources Assistant (Part-Time, Reduced Year)Salary: Commencing at £11,025 with progression to £11,539 per annum. Closing Date: 2025-09-23About the RoleThis is a part-time, reduced-year role: 18 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
Working hours for this post are Saturday & Sunday - 08:30 to 17:30We are looking to appoint a Technical and Performance Resources Assistant to support staff, students and external visitors during the weekends. Musical instruments and peripheral equipment are a core part of Leeds Conservatoire's activities. Performance Resources are a supportive and enthusiastic team who manage an extensive collection of music and performing arts apparatus.
What You Will DoThe post-holder will be required to work on a lending counter, issuing and receiving a wide range of musical instruments and equipment, such as amplifiers and microphones.
Offering troubleshooting support to users of equipment and the facilities around our campus. About YouEducated to A-level standard and will have experience of working in a customer-facing role. Have a working knowledge of a range of musical instruments and equipment and will be confident in identifying items correctly.
Have experience of working with IT systems and a strong customer service ethos.
