As Technical Manager, you will lead the technical planning and on-site delivery of events, ensuring seamless execution while acting as the key interface between technical and commercial requirements. A major part of your success will come from building strong, trusted relationships with the venue’s in-house events team and external clients.

This role would suit an experienced AV Technical or Project Manager, or a senior AV technician ready to step into a leadership role within a flagship venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Health & Safety

  • Enforce strict health and safety standards
  • Produce and manage RAMS
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM regulations

Innovation & Development

  • Keep up to date with emerging AV and event technologies
  • Support development of new services and efficient operational processes

You’ll have strong end-to-end experience in live event technical production and thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile venue environment.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy
  • A-Levels minimum; a relevant degree preferred

Events predominantly take place on weekdays, however some evening and weekend work is required. This role offers flexibility but requires an understanding that it is not a 9–5 position.
