Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Administrator, you will support the Transport and Warehouse supervisors, covering responsibilities such as:

  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound movements, updating warehouse management systems and delivery schedules promptly.
  • Process delivery documentation, shipment labels and customer paperwork to support timely dispatch and proof-of-delivery requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and exception reports; raise and follow up on discrepancies, missing items or damages with inventory control and suppliers.
  • Completing cycle counts, returns and credits.
  • Coordinate with transport planners and drivers to confirm pick-up and delivery windows, reschedule where necessary, and communicate changes to customers.
  • Provide administrative support for returns, reworks and claims procedures, including logging incidents and preparing supporting documentation.
  • Produce and distribute daily/weekly reports and KPIs (e.g., TCS, Maintenance, delivery completion rates, stock discrepancies, on-time performance) to hub management and stakeholders.
  • Manage internal and external enquiries related to stock deliveries, escalating operational issues to the appropriate teams and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Support compliance with health & safety, security and quality procedures in the hub environment, ensuring records are maintained and audits are supported.
  • Development of knowledge to support the Transport supervisor that Drivers are managed correctly to work within the drivers' hours and correct procedures.
  • Exhibit operational experience in ensuring transport operations are tightly controlled on a next day and same day service offering.

  • Proven experience in a warehouse administration, inventory control or logistics support role.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail with an ability to spot and investigate discrepancies.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse processes (goods receipt, picking, packing, dispatch) and stock reconciliation.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel essential) and comfortable using WMS or ERP systems; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience liaising with internal teams and external partners.
  • Customer‑focused, with good problem‑solving skills and a professional manner.
  • Basic understanding of health & safety requirements in a warehouse environment.
