As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Marston Gate, you’ll be responsible for:
Overseeing a designated section of the distribution centre while managing a team of around 15 colleagues.
Leading day‑to‑day operations, including picking, packing, resolving errors, driving productivity, and handling admin such as sickness, holidays, return‑to‑work interviews, disciplinaries and grievances.
Monitoring and managing team KPIs, ensuring targets such as picks per hour are consistently met.
Supporting and guiding the team on shift while also working hands-on, including a small amount of loading when required.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 2.00pm – 10.00pm
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
Strong people‑management skills with proven leadership experience; previous team‑leader or supervisory background is essential.
Warehouse experience is desirable, along with the ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
MHE licences (VNA, PPT, Counterbalance, Reach) are desirable; having one or more is beneficial but not essential.
