We are currently recruiting for Yard Operatives based in NR9. This is a great opportunity for reliable and physically fit individuals to join a busy production and distribution yard, supporting day-to-day operations in a hands-on, outdoor role.

You must have your own transport due to location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading window frames, glass units, and materials from delivery vehicles
• Safe handling and storage of glazing products and components
• Assisting with the movement of stock within the yard and to/from the production area
• Keeping the yard area clean, safe, and well-organised at all times
• Performing quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
• Supporting warehouse and logistics staff to ensure timely dispatch
• Following health and safety guidelines, including correct use of PPE
• Operating forklifts or pallet trucks if trained and authorised

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a yard, factory, or construction environment preferred
• Comfortable handling large and fragile items like window units and glass
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
• Valid forklift licence (advantageous but not essential - training may be provided)
• Good attention to detail and awareness of safety procedures

Working Hours:

• Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-17:00
