Description

 Location: Greenwich, London Pay: £14.80 per hour Hours: Full-time

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Yardman to join our busy depot in Greenwich. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in keeping our yard organised, safe, and running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the yard
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Supporting the depot team with materials, tools, and equipment
  • Carrying out basic maintenance and checks on yard machinery
  • Ensuring stock and supplies are stored correctly and easy to access
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
  • A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and follow health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Forklift or plant tickets would be an advantage, but training can be provided
