Experienced Year 5 Teacher Needed - Romford Primary School

Veritas Education is working with a mainstream primary school in Romford that has a high level of need across the student body. We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS2 Teacher (not suitable for ECTs) to take on a Year 5 class from ASAP.

This is a long-term, full-time teaching role with pay banded according to experience and Outer London pay scales.

• Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class
• Delivering a creative, engaging and inclusive KS2 curriculum
• Working closely with the SENCO and support staff to meet a range of needs
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
• Contributing to the wider school community and supporting pupil wellbeing

• Mainstream primary with a higher-than-average proportion of pupils with SEN and EAL
• OFSTED rated Outstanding
• Strong leadership team with a clear commitment to inclusion and high expectations
• Supportive environment with regular CPD and mentoring for experienced teachers
• Easily accessible via public transport and road links

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs will not be considered for this role
• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
• Confident working in a high-needs environment
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
