Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and well-being of our furry clients.

Hours available are flexible depending on the applicant. The rate is £12 per dog walked with capacity to do 4 dogs per hour walk.

Duties

• Walk dogs in a safe and controlled manner, adhering to all local regulations and guidelines.
• Ride our company cargo bike to pick up/drop off dogs before and after walks.
• Maintain clear communication with pet owners sending updates to them to show their dog enjoying their walks.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as assisting with larger breeds.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness by cleaning up after dogs during walks.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal care is preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in riding a bicycle as this role will require riding a cargo bike for collection/drop offs.
• Strong customer service skills are crucial for interacting positively with pet owners.
• A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their welfare is required.
• Ability to handle various dog breeds safely and effectively is essential, as you will be walking 4 dogs at a time on occasion.
