Plant Welfare & Sales Assistant

We are looking for a hardworking and passionate individual to join our team as a Plant Welfare and Sales Assistant to be based in the plants department to assist in our award-winning family run Home & Garden Centre. This position will be based predominantly outside. Knowledge of plants is ideal for this position.

The role will include:

• Plant care and maintenance
• Stock replenishment, organising stock, lifting and moving stock
• Site maintenance and upkeep of surrounding areas
• Providing the best possible customer service
• Serving customers
• Providing customers with outstanding knowledge and advice while shopping with us
• Assisting customers with carrying items to their car as required.
• Lifting and carrying so you must be physically fit
• Working 1 day at the weekend
• Supporting the Department Manager and the team with ad hoc duties as required.

The right candidate will be friendly, hard-working, enjoy the outdoors (in all weathers) and everything plants.
