AI Programme Manager - Remote

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an AI Programme Manager to work for our client within the banking sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a remote role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned AI Programme Manager to lead the development of a cutting-edge control system leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Mobile Payments domain. This initiative will serve as a strategic use-case to expand our AI portfolio and position us at the forefront of AI-driven innovation in the financial technology space. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of a complex AI-enabled solution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring operational and strategic alignment across stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Act as the Programme Manager for a high-impact AI initiative within Mobile Payments

Drive programme management activities across the full delivery lifecycle, from ideation to operational readiness

Translate complex AI capabilities and mobile payment requirements into actionable programme plans

Engage and align stakeholders across technical, business, and executive levels

Contribute to the strategic development of our AI capability roadmap

Ensure delivery aligns with Target Operating Models (TOM) and supports operational readiness requirements

Requirements:

Senior-level experience in programme management or product ownership, ideally in Agile/SAFe environments

Proven track record in delivering AI-related initiatives or strong understanding of AI capabilities and their application in business contexts

Background in Mobile Payments or Financial Technology is highly desirable

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights

Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in communicating with senior leadership

Familiarity with Operational Readiness frameworks and Target Operating Models (TOM) is an advantage
