Exams Officer with Data Experience - Long-Term Position in Newham (Start Immediately) Through Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Newham to recruit an organised, detail-oriented Exams Officer for a long-term position starting immediately and running until December 2025, with the potential for extension.

About the Role:

As the Exams Officer, you will be responsible for the efficient administration, organisation, and smooth running of all internal and external examinations. You will also support the schools data team, so prior experience handling school data systems is essential. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with examination regulations and ensuring an excellent experience for students and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and manage all aspects of public and internal examinations

  • Liaise with exam boards, SLT, and teaching staff

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry, including exam entries, results, and analysis

  • Support data management across the school (e.g., assessment tracking, student data systems)

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold exam board regulations at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Exams Officer in a UK school setting

  • Strong knowledge of ARBOR or similar school data systems

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Commitment to supporting student success and maintaining high standards
