Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in domiciliary care services? We are looking for an inspirational and compassionate leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our care service, ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality and person-centred support.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established service, driving continuous improvement while supporting people to live independently, with dignity, choice and control.
Our main EBHTCare Office is based in Weymouth DT4 0DL.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the quality, safety and effectiveness of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and organisational standards.
You will provide strong leadership to a dedicated team, creating a positive culture where customers receive exceptional care and colleagues are supported to deliver their best.
You will work closely with customers, families, colleagues and external partners to ensure care is personalised, responsive and focused on improving quality of life.
About the Service
You will lead a talented and committed team of 23 colleagues, including:
- Deputy Manager
- Admin Assistant
- Art Coordinator
- Care and Support Workers
- Team Leaders
At full capacity, the service supports up to 46 residents, providing a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the service to ensure outstanding standards of care and support.
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act and all relevant legislation.
- Ensure customers receive personalised care that promotes independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
- Provide inspirational leadership, motivating and developing your team to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Monitor quality standards through audits, reviews, feedback and continuous improvement activity.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management and the effective management of incidents and concerns.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and records are accurate, current and reflective of individual needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers, families, colleagues, commissioners and external professionals.
- Manage staffing, recruitment, performance, training and development to maintain a skilled and effective workforce.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to deliver strategic objectives and improve service quality.
- Promote a culture of openness, learning and continuous improvement.
About You
You will be an experienced Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and supporting people to live fulfilling lives.
You will have:
- A current Registered Manager background within a domiciliary care service.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and health and social care legislation.
- Proven experience leading and developing a care team.
- Experience managing a regulated service and driving quality improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to person-centred care and improving outcomes for customers.
