About the Company

Our client is a scaling, product-led SaaS business with over 120 colleagues across the UK, Australia and North America. Recognised as a Great Place to Work since 2020 and named one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Development, this is an organisation that genuinely invests in its people. With a clear mission, a passion for technology and innovation, and a low-ego, high-trust culture, it is a business where product professionals can do some of their best work.

The Role

A hands-on Product Manager position with genuine strategic weight. You will take ownership of product vision, strategy and roadmap, lead discovery and delivery across the full product lifecycle, and work closely with Engineering, Design, Commercial and Customer teams to ship products that create measurable value. This role suits someone who blends strategic thinking with practical execution and thrives in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where initiative and ownership matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape product vision and strategy, aligning the roadmap to business goals and long-term outcomes
  • Lead discovery, turning customer problems and market opportunities into clear, prioritised product solutions
  • Own and manage the product backlog using structured prioritisation frameworks such as RICE
  • Generate user stories, acceptance criteria and definitions of done
  • Drive iterative delivery using Agile methodologies including planning, standups, reviews and retrospectives
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic thinking, managing scope, budget and dependencies
  • Build deep customer understanding through profiles, personas, user journeys and fast feedback loops
  • Engage and manage expectations across technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • 3 or more years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of bringing valuable products to market
  • Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes and measurable success metrics
  • Experience defining product vision, strategy and roadmap within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
  • Customer-obsessed approach, using data and experimentation to drive continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of technology, ideally with exposure to AI and ML opportunities
  • Confident stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
  • UK work authorisation

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of UX and UI principles and a design-thinking approach to product development
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools

Why Apply?

  • Salary of £70,000 to £75,000 with a flexible benefits suite
  • Genuine ownership and influence over product direction at a scaling global SaaS business
  • Great Place to Work certified since 2020, with recognition for development, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Hybrid working with 2 days per week
  • High-trust, low-ego culture with career progression based on merit, not time served
  • Health cash plan, EAP, life assurance, cycle to work scheme and discounted gym membership
  • Active social and charity committee with events throughout the year
