The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their clinical psychology experience within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Working under the supervision of qualified psychological practitioners, you will provide psychological assessments, contribute to evidence-based interventions, support staff experiencing mental health difficulties, and play a key role in service development, research and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments using interviews, questionnaires and standardised assessment tools.
- Support the formulation and delivery of psychological interventions under the supervision of qualified psychologists.
- Assess fitness for work and provide recommendations on workplace adjustments and return-to-work plans.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes using validated clinical measures.
- Assist in developing self-help resources, psychological skills training and well being initiatives.
- Contribute to service audits, research projects, data collection and service improvement activities.
- Prepare clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service planning and development.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Psychology recognised by the British Psychological Society (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health or psychological well being needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and analysing data.
- A genuine interest in occupational health, staff well being and evidence-based psychological practice.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
