*Midweek availability is essential. May not suit students. Start time from 1pm.*

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the bar area.

*Duties*

* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
* Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and assist guests as needed.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to all financial protocols.
* Comply with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the bar.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all customers receive prompt service.

*Experience*

* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong knowledge of drink recipes, bartending techniques, and food safety practices.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well under pressure while providing exceptional customer support.
