We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our Team at Kingsbury Farms! The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of both retail and foodservice meat preparation. Must be confident working with whole primals, cutting steaks accurately to weight, and preparing cuts suitable for chefs, restaurants, and retail customers. This role requires excellent knife skills, strong product knowledge, and an understanding of how different cuts perform when cooked. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cut, trim, and portion a range of beef and other meats to precise specifications Cut steaks accurately to target weights while maintaining presentation and yield Prepare and pack products for foodservice customers and e-commerce orders to a high visual standard Understand and produce both retail cuts and chef-ready foodservice cuts Maintain the highest standards of quality, freshness, and product consistency Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures Manage stock rotation and assist in minimising waste Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work area Deliver goods as and when required What We Need From You: Proven experience as a butcher in retail, wholesale, or foodservice production Strong knife skills with the ability to break down primals and portion accurately Ability to cut steaks consistently to weight Good understanding of foodservice terminology and chef-focused cuts Knowledge of how different cuts perform when cooked Strong attention to detail and product presentation Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations This can be a physical job, you must be able to lift cartons up to 22kgs in weight Full Driving Licence.
