The Opportunity
A modern, fast-growing Legal 500 law firm is expanding its Debt Recovery and Litigation teams following continued client growth across finance, local authority, and housing sectors. With a new Liverpool city centre office recently opened and an established Wigan base, this is an excellent time to join a business in genuine growth mode.
This is not a traditional high-street litigation role. The firm operates as a commercially focused legal services business with a strong national client base and a high-volume but well-structured workflow environment.
You will join a busy and expanding sub-team handling a steady pipeline of debt recovery litigation work, with strong internal support and clear processes in place.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of debt recovery and civil litigation matters, working within a specialist team.
Key responsibilities include:
Running a full caseload of debt recovery matters from instruction through to enforcement
Advising on litigation strategy and recovery options
Handling matters for key clients across finance, local authority, or housing sectors
Progressing claims efficiently within a high-volume but structured environment
Liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth case progression
Candidate Requirements
The firm is seeking:
Qualified Solicitors or CILEX / Chartered Legal Executives
Experience in debt recovery or civil litigation (NQ+)
Ability to manage a caseload independently with good organisation and time management
A proactive and commercially minded approach
Team & Culture
You will join a modern, commercially driven law firm with a strong reputation in debt recovery litigation and long-standing national client relationships.
Collaborative and supportive team structure
Strong leadership and training framework
Clear career progression pathways
Hybrid working model following probation (typically 1–2 days WFH)
Flexible approach depending on candidate experience and autonomy
Benefits & Package
Hybrid working (post-probation)
Brand new training academy
Workplace wellbeing programme
Strong training and development support
Clear progression opportunities within a growing team
Established client base and consistent workflow
Why This Role?
This is a strong opportunity to join a growing national litigation business at a time of expansion, with a consistent caseload, structured support, and genuine scope to develop within a specialist debt recovery environment.
