Car Sales Associate/Trainee Cloughmills, Ballymena

SALARY

Expected earnings £35,000-£40,000 with a generous basic of £25,000 and company car and fuel allowance provided.

We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Associate/Trainee to join our team at our Cloughmills site.

This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills and a passion for customer service.

Perhaps you currently work in retail or hospitality where one to one customer service is normal, (perhaps working in a phone shop, electrical appliance shop, insurance sales, house sales, letting agency) these roles may allow you to transfer your skills.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday: 9.00am 5.30pm

Saturdays: 9.00am 1.00pm

(Some Saturdays off)

The Role

As a Sales Associate/Trainee, you will:

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner possibly by responding to initial contact via email, WhatsApp, text or other medium.
• Understanding customer needs is paramount therefore caring and listening are the most important part of the job.
• Once you understand the customers needs you will then recommend suitable vehicles and finance options.
• Carry out vehicle presentations, test drives, and follow-up appointments
• Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
• Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems
• Help achieve individual and team sales targets
• Ensure the showroom and forecourt are clean, presentable, and well maintained
• Provide excellent aftersales support and customer service

Experience & Skills

We dont expect you to have car sales experience well provide full training. What were looking for is enthusiasm and the right attitude:

• Strong customer service or retail experience (e.g. sales, hospitality, mobile phones, electronics, or furniture).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Good IT skills to handle the administration side of the role.
• Willingness to learn, follow processes, and be part of a team.
• A valid driving licence
